There are many possible causes for performance issues and the below checklist needs to be followed before a support ticket is raised.
versaSRS Performance Checklist
- What are the hardware specifications of your application server (OS version, Memory)?
- What version of SQL Server are you running?
- What version of versaSRS are you running?
- Are there any applications other than versaSRS running on your application server?
- Do you have a dedicated database server (i.e. separate from your application server)?
- What is the file size of your versaSRS database?
- Do you run MS SQL Maintenance Plans against the versaSRS database? If so, how often?
- How many Cases, Problems, RFC's, and/or Tasks have been logged?
- How many Audit logs have been recorded?
- How many Attachments have been recorded?
- How often do the versaSRS Windows services poll the database?
- Do you use the versaSRS reporting dashboard?
- Do you use SQL Reporting Services to generate reports?
- Do you provide your clients with access to SRSConnect?
- Do you archive your system using versaSRSArchiver?
