Article ID: Q731221

Category: FAQ - Knowledge Base

The information in this article applies to:

  • versaSRS
  • Email Issues
Emails being sent from versaSRS showing incorrect sent time. For example an email sent from versaSRS could show as being sent 30 minutes in the future.
This is caused by a third party component used by versaSRS to process email not supporting certain timezones.
In the Global Settings you can set the two properties 'SMTPDateHeaderFormat' and 'SMTPDateHeaderTimeZone' to the desired format for your particular region, you must have Administrator access to change these settings.

For example: Adelaide, Australia has a UTC time of +09:30 and the settings should be:

SMTPDateHeaderFormat: ddd, dd MMMMMMMMM yyyy HH:mm:ss
SMTPDateHeaderTimeZone:  +0930

NOTE: When adding the time zone in the Global Settings take note of the extra whitespace needed before the + sign.
