Unable to Unlock Cases in versaSRS

The information in this article applies to:

  • versaSRS
  • Locked Case
I am unable to unlock cases in versaSRS.
When Cases are being viewed or actioned by Users, they are locked to ensure data integrity, sometimes the cases can be manually unlocked depending on your User Profile settings.
 Certain users haven't been granted permission to unlock Cases based on their assigned Security Profile, they will need to raise the issue with an Administrator.



Option 1. A User has the ability to unlock their own cases through the 'Tools > Unlock Cases' menu of versaSRS or by clicking the padlock next to a locked Case.



Option 2. If a user does have unlock rights, but cannot unlock a Case, the User may be in the 'My Cases' or 'My Home' view in versaSRS and they need to access the Team that the Case is logged in and try again.

If there are still unlock issues then a Case needs to be raised with VersaDev Support, please including all findings from above.
