The Mail Services are showing as Out of Sync.

The services were momentarily stopped due to maintenance plan being completed on the database.

The database maintenance is, by default, set to run every day. The maintenance time is used to perform full system backup and rebuild of database indexes to ensure the system is running at peak performance.

Adjusting the maintenance window, to ensure the system is ready for operation by a certain time, prevent this issue from occurring in the future.

You can also create a batch file to start (or stop) the Services and schedule it to run via the System Task Scheduler in Windows. Example batch files can be found here.
