Q: How do I get the Team and/or User signature to display on outgoing emails in versaSRS?
A: In order to get the desired signature to show on an outgoing email in versaSRS you need to include the necessary System tag. It is best to configure Update templates that can be set as defaults for the Team by configuring them on the Update Templates tab.
There are two signature tags that can be used:
- [QUEUESIGNATURE]
- [SIGNATURE]
The tag [QUEUESIGNATURE] will always be replaced with the signature set for the Team regardless of what radio button is selected on the Case Update screen, even if the 'No Signature' option is selected.
The tag [SIGNATURE] will be replaced with whichever radio button option is selected in the Case Update screen. The below example will replace the tag with the signature set in the User's Profile.
If there is no tag on the outgoing email no signature will be displayed regardless of which radio button is selected.
NOTE: If the signature is not appearing as you expect ensure there are signatures configured for the given Team and/or User.
